Led by a qualified marine surveyor
CSA Marine is an independent marine surveying company based in Melbourne, led by Captain Shakeel Chowdhury, a member of the Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors. We inspect bulk carriers before loading so export cargo, in particular grain, moves safely and in compliance with the Australian Export Regulations.

How it works
From booking to certificate
Book the survey
Send the vessel’s name, berth or anchorage, and loading dates. We confirm attendance to suit the vessel’s schedule.
We inspect
Every nominated hold is checked: frames, plating, ladders, tank tops and bilges, plus residues of previous cargoes.
You get the result
A certificate stating the vessel is fit to load, or the exact defects to rectify before loading can begin.
